A very consistent run from Oscar Farnden has netted him a podium in round 1 of the SA Autocross Series, held at SEAC Park, near Mount Gambier. In the 20-car field. he was 3rd fastest on all runs behind local drivers Ryan Poel & Dale Cagney, except for the 5th run where he was 2nd fastest, pipping Poel by 0.5 secs. Oscar came away from the event impressed with the track and buzzing from the jump. Congratulations, Oscar! Farnden with a podium in AutoX 1 - 15th May 2023

Congratulations to SDCC Members David McDonough and Steve Hiser on their 2nd O/R finish in the SARC component of the Rally of the Heartland. Other SDCC members were Rob & Jane Hunt in 4th, Molly Spalding & Guy Tyler in 6th, Jason Theile was 8th and Chris Bennet and Danis Skabe were 11th. Unfortunately for Ben Searcy/Brad Jones and Andrew Admiraal/Tim Broad, despite great showings, their event ended on the sidelines. The regularity section was won by SDCC Members Damian Reed/Adrian Raggett. SDCC Members feature in The Rally of the Heartland - 11th May 2023

Class winners - Jim Roberts (A), Oscar Farnden (AM), Michael Milligan (B), Wayne Casey (BM), Marc Guyatt (C), Daniel Haselgrove (CM), Jim Myhill (DM), Guy Bertshinger (EM), Tim Broad (F), Sam Humphries (FM) and Paul Kennedy (S) Category Winners - Tanya Tillett (Ladies), Oscar Farnden (Junior 12-15) and Josie Grabis (Junior) Outright winner Oscar Farnden was 9:21.99secs on corrected time, Jim Myhill - 9:26.12 and Sam Humphries who was the quickest in RAW times on the day was third on 9:27.43
